Broken furnace—repaired
Problem: Patrick C., a Lakeville resident, called because his furnace wasn’t working properly. He checked the thermostat to make sure it was in “heat” mode, then contacted MSP for help when his furnace still wasn’t heating his home.
Solution: We sent over one of our tech, Thomas, to check out the situation. Upon inspecting the furnace, Thomas found that there was an issue with the electronic ignition system. He replaced the hot surface ignitor and then checked to make sure the furnace was working properly. Before he left, Thomas told Patrick that with proper maintenance, Patrick’s furnace would likely last another 10 years before it needs to be replaced.
